WHEN I hear scientists and others pontificate about global warming I am tempted to challenge them and ask about the arctic weather that we have just endured over the Christmas break.
One has to accept, albeit reluctantly, that the scientists and those who forecast climate changes are probably right in the long term and that we who are influenced by the short-term weather must bow to those of superior knowledge.
Still I would have settled for a spell of global warming over the Christmas period as the temperature of between five ...
