Jan. 20--Sam Kassin and Eli Gindi's Fast Tigress, an Aiken Trials alumnus, used a late rally to defeat her rivals by a neck in a 1 1/16-mile allowance race on the turf Thursday at Gulfstream Park. The chestnut daughter of Hold That Tiger was broken and trained in Aiken by Legacy Stable's Ron Stevens. Fast Tigress is conditioned by John Kimmel. "She's very professional and came out of the race in great shape," said Kimmel. "We're pointing her toward the Coconut Grove Stakes, a race for 3-year-old fillies, on Feb. 15 at Gulfstream Park."
