ATLANTA -- Video Display Corporation (NASDAQ:VIDE) announces that its Aydin Displays Inc. subsidiary has been awarded a multiple-year contract by General Dynamics Advanced Information Systems, Fairfax, Va., to supply the U.S. Navy with 24-inch rugged flat panel monitors for the Common Displays System (CDS) Program.
General Dynamics, the prime contractor for the Navy's CDS Program, selected Aydin in a full and open competition. Aydin has a long and successful history as a supplier of cutting edge displays for naval applications.
