Baker Hughes to build a submersible power cable plant in Tyumen region for $45 mln
TYUMEN. Jan 20 (Interfax) - U.S. oil service company Baker Hughes Inc. intends to develop a plant in the Tyumen region for the production of submersible power cable worth $45 million, the Tyumen gubernatorial press service said in a statement.
According to the regional director of Centrilift Russia (Baker Hughes' Russian subsidiary), Yevgeny Chashin, the company plans a substantial decrease in the time of product deliveries to consumers, as well as transportation costs.
