Article: ValuJet Flight Attendant Negotiations Set to Resume

WASHINGTON, March 21 /PRNewswire/ -- Flight attendants at ValuJet Airlines (Nasdaq: VJET), represented by the Association of Flight Attendants, AFL-CIO, are scheduled to resume contract negotiations on Monday, March 24. The talks have been on hold since the crash of a ValuJet flight last May in the Florida Everglades.

Their flight attendants seek their first collective bargaining agreement with the company. "Low pay and poor working conditions are the reasons we organized," said Susan Clayton, AFA's Local President at ValuJet. "Those issues remain our primary goals for the negotiations."
