BOCA RATON, Fla.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--March 24, 1997--Interstate Hotels Company (NYSE: IHC), today announced that Michael J. Aranson, a member of its Board of Directors, died last evening at his home in Boca Raton, Fla.
Aranson was senior vice president and general counsel of Resource Investments Inc., a real estate investment firm, and served on Interstate's Board of Directors since 1991. Interstate's Board of Directors will begin consideration of candidates to fill the vacancy created by Aranson's death.
