Mar. 22--Airbus Industrie is not taking its failure to land any of Delta Air Lines' business lying down.
The European plane maker is sharply criticizing Delta's 20-year deal to buy all its planes from Boeing Co., calling it anti-competitive and questioning Delta's strategy.
"The real loser," David Venz, a spokesman at Airbus' U.S. office in Herndon, Va., said Friday, "is the person who's getting an MBA this June and will someday run Delta, only to discover he has no choice in what kind of planes he buys."
