(NYSE:AGN) today announced that it has received clearance from the Medicines Control Agency to market ALPHAGAN(r)(brimonidine) in the United Kingdom for the treatment of open-angle glaucoma and ocular hypertension. Allergan will seek approval to market ALPHAGAN(r) in the balance of the European community through the mutual recognition filing process.
