WASHINGTON - A courageous bid to push the limits in his battle against brain cancer to witness the swearing-in of President Obama may have caused U.S. Sen. Edward M. Kennedy to become weary and suffer a seizure yesterday, according to his doctor.
Kennedy collapsed from the seizure during a post-inauguration luncheon yesterday after being outside for the entire swearing-in and inaugural address on a clear but cold day.
Kennedy's doctor in Washington, D.C., said last night that "after testing," the seizure appears to have been triggered by "simple fatigue."
