The Ethiopian Institute of Biodiversity Conservation received 20 million birr assistance from the United Nations (UN) to strengthen its activities of conserving medicinal herbs in the country. Senior researcher of the medicinal herbs project with the institute Dr. Fasil Kibebew told WIC that the financial support was provided by the UN global partnership Global Environment Facility (GEF).
