Duke Realty Investments Inc. is negotiating with Browning-Ferris Industries of Ohio Inc. to develop a 250-acre business and industrial park in the village of Glenwillow on a property that now serves as a landfill.
The BFI property would act as a base for the Indianapolis-based developer's entry into Greater Cleveland's industrial real estate market. It would present a plum development opportunity for Duke, which burst onto the local scene a year ago with its January 1996 acquisition of Farro Enterprises' seven suburban office buildings.
