Abu Dhabi Polymers Park to Attract 60 Investors
Abu Dhabi Polymers Park (ADPP), a recently created industrial cluster in Abu Dhabi, is expected to host about 60 plastics processing factories by 2015, involving a combined investment of $4.5 billion and consuming more than 1 million m.t./year of polymers, Mohammed Al Qamzi, senior v.p. at ADPP says. The park is being established by Abu Dhabi Basic Industries Corp. (ADBIC), a wholly owned subsidiary of state-owned General Holding Co. (Abu Dhabi).
