Jan. 23--Crime Stoppers of Reno County, on the eve of its 25th anniversary, is not looking back at its successful history. Instead, the nonprofit organization of citizens against crime is looking ahead -- and adapting in ways that will allow Crime Stoppers to continue to be a viable service in the future. Since it was founded in March 1985, the organization has helped solve nearly 500 cases, with 520 arrests. Among the arrests were rapists and murderers, including David Meggers, who in 2006 pleaded guilty to the stabbing death of South Hutchinson resident Bonnie Galloway.
