Jan. 24--NORTH AUGUSTA -- Heidi Dyches and her daughter Alli were hanging out at North Augusta Elementary School Thursday night, playing trivia with dozens of other parents and kids. The event even had an announcer, reading the academics-oriented questions and bantering with the crowd.
"That's my dad," said third-grader Alli with pride. He sounded like a real radio guy and, as it turned out, is one. His radio personality name is Cliff Bennett, and he works at Eagle 105.7 FM.
