Gitmo closer could make America less safe: Republican Senator

Washington, Jan 23 (PTI) Expressing disappointment over the decision of the US President Barack H Obama to close down the Guantanamo detention centre, a senior Republican Senator said all this will make America less safe.
This is a dangerous decision in a wrong direction, Senator John Cornyn from Texas alleged, after Obama signed three executive orders and one memorandum in this regard.
Cornyn also criticised the Obama administration order regarding closing down of the CIA detention centres across the world.
