Mar. 31--The Massachusetts economy, particularly within the Route 495 beltway, is outperforming Rhode Island's once again.
It has bounced back quicker from the recession, creating jobs at a faster pace and pushing its unemployment rate well below Rhode Island's.
Massachusetts is doing well because it is teeming with companies in industries that are the major league players in the current economy -- high-growth, high-technology performers.
