Roger Brown, who helped to lead the Indiana Pacers to three American Basketball Association (ABA) championships after he was banned from the NBA, recently died of liver cancer. He was 54.
A high school star in Brooklyn, NY, Brown was stripped of his college scholarship at the University of Dayton and banned by the NBA for associating with gambler Jack Molinas.
