Jan 26, 2009 (The Australian Financial Review - ABIX via COMTEX) -- There is strong interest in the New Zealand operations of ABC Learning Centres. There have been 170 expressions of interest in the 120 centres, with potential bidders including rival operators and private equity groups. A data room will be opened in early February 2009 and the sale should be completed by late February or early March.
