IRVINE, Calif. -- As it continues to expand in key markets, Loehmann's, the leading off-pricer of upscale designer clothing, is also escalating its pursuit of top labels.
At the opening of a 25,000-square-foot store here this week in Orange County, Calif. -- part of the retailer's drive to strengthen its position in the Southern California market -- Robert Friedman, Loehmann's chairman and chief executive officer, said Ralph Lauren's Polo jeans and a shipment of Nautica are scheduled to arrive next week.
