Karachi, January 26 (PPI): An efficient, time-saving and cost-effective public transport system is the hallmark for any metropolitan city, but the biggest city of Pakistan still lack a decent urban transport system, despite coming into power of a democratic government. Overcrowded, shabby, smoke-emitting buses and minibuses painted with almost every colour of rainbow ply on Karachi roads, openly violating all traffic rules and regulations. Commuters of this most modern and most educated city of the country are forced to travel in dangerously jam-packed buses.
