FAIRFAX, Va. -- A contract to assist the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) in the management and planning of its Clean Coal Program has been awarded to Technology & Management Services, Inc. (TMS), a portfolio company of National Interest Security Company, LLC (NISC).

The five-year (36-month base, with two one-year options), $19 million contract supports DOE's Office of Clean Coal's (OCC) mission to ensure the availability of affordable domestic energy with near-zero emissions to fuel economic prosperity, strengthen energy security, and enhance environmental quality.
