GREENVILLE, S.C., April 3 /PRNewswire/ -- Michelin North America announced today that its radial tire manufacturing facility in Greenville, S.C. and supporting corporate functions have received QS-9000 certification for the design and manufacture of original equipment passenger and light truck tires.
Certification efforts started with the selection of a third party auditor, Underwriters Laboratories, and was achieved through the active participation of personnel from manufacturing, customer service, marketing, sales, tire design, purchasing, testing, logistics and training.
