ev3 Inc. (NASDAQ:EVVV), a global endovascular device company, announced the appointment of Shawn McCormick as Sr. Vice President and Chief Financial Officer, effective January 19, 2009. Mr. McCormick succeeds Patrick Spangler, who has resigned as Sr. Vice President and Chief Financial Officer effective January 19, 2009 (see also ev3 Inc.).
Mr. McCormick brings more than 15 years of experience in the medical device industry to ev3.
