WOODBURY, N.Y.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--April 7, 1997--Kapson Senior Quarters Corp. (NASDAQ, NMS: KPSQ), owner, manager and operator of assisted living facilities, announced today that it has entered into a joint venture with Stratford Assisted Living LLC to develop a 100-unit assisted living facility on an approved site at 6905 Main Street in Stratford, CT. Stratford Assisted Living is a subsidiary of Atlantic Development Group.
Construction of the facility is expected to begin in July 1997. Kapson will own 51 percent of the project, and will operate it through a subsidiary, Senior Quarters Management Corp.
