Nissei has added a number of injection moulding machines to its range, with a new low cost large machine, new electric models, and machines configured for specific moulding applications.
A high speed packaging machine has been introduced using Nissei's Triplemelt injection unit (British Plastics & Rubber, September 1996, p16). This is a two-stage design in which the material is plasticised in an extruder and transferred to a shooting pot through a cylindrical heated channel which imparts further mixing and homogeneity of melt temperature.
