Article: NGCP replaces bombed pylon in Lanao del Norte.

ZAMBOANGA CITY, Jan. 28 (PNA) --- The National Grid Corporation of the Philippines (NGCP) has announced that it is temporarily shutting down on Sunday the Abaga-Agus 5-Aurora 138-kilovolt line in Lanao del Norte province.

NGCP Assistant Vice President for Mindanao Operations and Maintenance Emmanuel Abellanosa said the shutting down of Abaga-Agus 5 is to pave way for the transfer of the transmission line wires from the Emergency Restoration System (ERS) tower to the newly-constructed pylon.

The NGCP is a private consortium that assumed the operation of the National Transmission Corporation (Transco) last Jan. 10.
