LAS VEGAS--(BUSINESS WIRE)--April 1, 1997--William J. Hornbuckle has been named president and chief operating officer of Caesars Palace.
Hornbuckle, 39, is an 18-year veteran of the gaming industry, the last 11 of which were with the Mirage organization. Hornbuckle was hired Dec. 1, 1996, by Caesars World Inc., to be president and chief operating officer of Planet Hollywood Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas. In his new position, Hornbuckle continues to report to Peter Boynton, president and chief executive officer of Caesars World Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of New York-based ITT Corp. (NYSE:ITT), which also owns and operates The Desert Inn in Las Vegas. ...
