Auctioning a $4-million-plus Bugatti barn find in the middle of the worst recession since World War II might not seem like a great idea. But when the car is as well preserved and has as terrific a provenance as the Type 57S unearthed recently in England, it should provide one of the automotive highlights of 2009. Bonhams will offer the ex-Earl Howe Atalante on Feb. 9 at the Retromobile show in Paris.
