Compact is not a word normally associated with Anthony Trollope. That sturdy Victorian novelist who produced 47 novels, not to mention numerous volumes of short stories and non-fiction, was anything but compact in either physique or output. However he has now appeared on a compact disc, or to be accurate two compact discs.
