DOWNERS GROVE, Ill. -- Sara Lee North American Foodservice is conducting a voluntary recall of Chef Pierre Chocolate Peanut Butter Silk Pie, a foodservice product. This voluntary recall is being conducted as a precautionary measure due to this product containing peanut pieces subject to the expanded recall of products produced by Peanut Corporation of America's (PCA) Blakely, Georgia facility. This PCA facility is the subject of an investigation by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) concerning a recent salmonella outbreak. No other Sara Lee Corporation products are involved in this recall.
