Since ancient times, when people first realized it was better not to be rained on, the construction industry has offered job security and steady, above-average wages. Throughout time, the success of a culture often has been measured by its ability to erect structures and house its residents.
"The construction industry is always going to be one of the largest facets of life because practically everything we do, we do in a building," says David Masterson, a builder from Murfreesboro, Tenn.
