CAMBRIDGE, Mass.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--April 3, 1997-- IONA Technologies (NASDAQ: IONAY) announces the appointment of John J. Cullinane to the company's Board of Directors. Mr. Cullinane joins Mr. Kevin Melia as the company's second non-executive director.
Mr. Cullinane is president of The Cullinane Group, Inc. - a high technology investment firm. He served as Chairman of the Board, President and Chief Executive Officer of Cullinet Software, Inc., one of the first companies to specialize in computer software products and the first to be listed on the New York Stock Exchange and reach $1 billion in valuation.
