Disability is a significant public health issue. (1) Adolescents with disabilities have been found to experience poorer educational, social, and health outcomes due to the physical and psychosocial impacts of having a disability.(2-4) Injury is a health outcome that children with disabilities may experience differentially; (5) however, there is a paucity of literature that explores the determinants of injury among adolescents with disabilities.
