'War criminals' prevented from leaving B'desh
Dhaka, Jan 31 (PTI) The government in Bangladesh has directed the security forces to prevent all war criminals, who allegedly collaborated with the Pakistani military during the 1971 'liberation war' from leaving the country.
According to Home Minister Sahara Khatun, a general instruction has been issued to the authorities concerned not to allow any suspected 'war criminals' to leave the country.
"All relevant information about the war criminals have already been sent to the agencies concerned asking them to guard all points so that the war criminals cannot flee the country" Khatun told reporters.
