Feb 01, 2009 (The Australian - ABIX via COMTEX) -- Bernie Brookes, CEO of department store chain Myer, concedes its new strategy on marketing is high-risk. It entails 165 suppliers contributing to the cost of the campaign, and lower advertising rates being negotiated with the print, radio and TV media sectors. Myer will double the expenditure on marketing, and also include point-of-sale, direct mail and fashion shows.
