SEEN AND HEARD AT VERIZON CENTER
With the Washington Wizards' collection of centers still depleted by injuries, sixth-year veteran Darius Songaila made his third straight start in the middle as the Wizards took on the Clippers.
Although Songaila is a natural power forward and is only 6-foot-9, Wizards coach Ed Tapscott has no problem putting him on the floor against taller, and in some cases, more athletic opposing centers because of the savvy play the Wake Forest product offers.
