TOKYO, April 11 /PRNewswire/ -- Daimler-Benz InterServices announced today the introduction of a unique Intelligent Traffic Guidance System (ITGS) which will be available initially on Mercedes-Benz S-Class vehicles sold in Japan. This new system represents the world's largest and most comprehensive individual route guidance system for passenger cars. The ITGS provides drivers in Tokyo with route recommendations that respond in real-time to prevailing traffic conditions. It will allow drivers to travel efficiently, and economically, defining optimal transportation routes that avoid congestion and bottlenecks.
