Industry's first air and land prepaid phone cards let users make

inflight Airfone(R) calls, as well as ground-based calls.

GTE Airfone today announced it is teaming up with prepaid phone card providers to introduce the telecommunication industry's first cards that can be used both on the ground and inflight.

The air-land prepaid phone cards will soon be available to consumers all across the country as a result of two separate agreements between GTE Airfone and GTE Card Services and GTE Airfone and Frontier Communications.
