IT was 1989 and Colin Craig and Lesley Crosfield had just embarked on a huge gamble in a bid to fulfil their dream.
They had given up their homes and were touring the Highlands in a camper van in search of the perfect location for a new hotel and restaurant.
And this week, 20 years after their epic trip, the business they set up in a converted house in Sutherland has won the ultimate accolade - a Michelin star.
The Albannach Hotel in Lochinver was one of four Scots new entrants in the latest Michelin Guide, which went on sale yesterday.
