Polish construction materials firm Cersanit puts Russian expansion projects on hold in 2009
WARSAW. FEBRUARY 2. INTERFAX CENTRAL EUROPE - Polish construction materials producer Cersanit decided to freeze some of its investments this year, including the planned expansion of production capacities in Russia and the construction of a bathroom fittings factory in Romania, the company said in a statement.
"The verification is part of the Cersanit group's effort to prepare the group's companies for a temporary economic downturn through savings on the purchases of materials, sales costs and overhead," the company said.
