VERNON HILLS, Ill. -- Mitsubishi Electric Automation, Inc., a global industrial automation company, announced today that Jerry Yen, a recognized authority on automation control systems, has been named director of the company's new Custom Solutions Center.
Yen comes to Mitsubishi following a 25-year career with General Motors, where he rose to be the technical fellow and principal engineer for the Controls, Conveyors, Robotics, and Welding (CCRW) Group within the GM Manufacturing Engineering organization.
