DEERFIELD, Ill., April 14 /PRNewswire/ -- Harry M. Jansen Kraemer Jr. has been elected president of Baxter International Inc. (NYSE: BAX) by the company's board of directors, effective immediately, Vernon R. Loucks Jr., Baxter chairman and chief executive officer announced today.
Kraemer, 42, has served as senior vice president and chief financial officer of Baxter since 1993 and as a director of the company since 1995. Also, he was promoted in 1995 to the Office of the Chief Executive, a group responsible for directing Baxter's business strategies.
