Article: Hopes rise for action on biogenerics.(GENERICS)

WASHINGTON -- The dawn of a new administration and a new Congress has raised hopes that landmark biogenerics legislation might be passed in 2009, the year that marks the 25th anniversary of the Hatch-Waxman Act, which gave birth to the generic drug industry.

Other signs have also emerged that the issue is garnering public attention.
