LONDON: Flyhalf Danny Cipriani has been demoted from England's Six Nations squad for Saturday's opening match against Italy at Twickenham.
The Wasps player, dropped for England's last international against New Zealand in November, has been included in the Saxons squad to face Ireland A on Friday, the Rugby Football Union (RFU) said yesterday.
Toby Flood is expected to play fly-half against Italy and Brive No 10 Andy Goode has been added to England's elite squad as cover.
