Studio live by the water in Gothenburg, Sweden and named their first album West Coast after both their own local island vistas and the general endlessness vibe. Personally, I've always been partial to the beaches in New England, but I'm starting to think that's just because they're what I know best. Cape Cod, where I have spent time most summers of my life, is a beautiful place, but it's not very tropical. The sand is yellowed and the salt in the water is thick and it cakes in your hair. I only went to a California beach in the winter and it seemed like heaven. And I've definitely never been to the West Coast of Sweden, but I can only imagine the opulent outdoors.
