Chris McKay loved the Aboriginal resource technician course he took at Sault College.
"I thought it was great," he said in a recent telephone interview with Windspeaker Business Quarterly. It allowed him to study while remaining in his home community of Mattagami First Nation, 70 km south of Timmins.
The distance-learning program gave him a good grounding in fish and wildlife and forest management, and had him working two days a week with the Ontario Ministry of Natural Resources
