Alibaba Group likely to shed more non-profitable interests as part of restructure
Shanghai. February 5. INTERFAX-CHINA - Alibaba Group's ongoing restructure is likely to result in the disbanding of more of its non- profitable interests, following the recent closure of the NCP online community operated by Alibaba subsidiary Yahoo Koubei, an analyst told Interfax on Feb. 4.
"More mergers and closures will happen during Alibaba Group's restructure, through which the company is aiming to concentrate more on e-commerce and related services," Ding Li, an analyst with iResearch, said.
