Elizabeth Arden's latest scent for women, Pretty, is not only the company's first simultaneous global fragrance launch, it is also the first to use a new floral ingredient, Petalia.
Petalia is a new floral molecule developed by fragrance house Givaudan that is said to infuse the perfume with a unique floral character.
Arden worked with Givaudan's Claude Dir to create the floral jus that features top notes of Italian mandarin orpur, orange blossom and peach nectar. The heart notes comprise petalia, star jasmine, pink iris and white peony, and the drydown is of fluffy musk, jacaranda wood and creamy amber.
