An angel made them do it. That's the explanation offered by artists Peter Dudar and Sally Marr. How else, they say, do you explain two apartment dwellers with virtually no prior gardening experience taking on the challenge of creating an Eden in pots? Before they designed the lush courtyard garden shown here, the two didn't have as much as a potted geranium between them.
Reina de Los Angeles, a monumental bronze statue the two artists created for the entrance to a West Hollywood residential complex, is the angel responsible.
