THE man accused of murdering Meredith Kercher declared 'I would never hurt a fly' yesterday in a dramatic courtroom outburst.

Raffaele Sollecito, 24, claimed he had 'absolutely nothing' to do with the death of the 21-year-old British student, whose bloodied and partly clothed body was found in her bedroom.

He is accused with ex-girlfriend Amanda Knox of killing Miss Kercher after she apparently refused to participate in a sex game.

Sollecito also claimed he had not been with Knox long enough for them to want to include others in their sex life.
